This online workshop is specifically designed to help emerging scholars, including students, research scholars, faculty members and other professionals— in gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate the complex process of academic writing and publishing.

In the world of academic research, many emerging scholars, including students, research scholars, faculty members and other professionals, face significant challenges in articulating their research in a publishable format. Writing an article for an academic journal requires an understanding complex structure, ensuring originality, adhering to citation standards, and presenting research findings clearly and effectively.
This workshop aims to tackle these challenges by providing step-by-step guidance on how to structure, write, and revise academic articles. The workshop will cover a variety of essential topics to help participants at all stages of the article-writing process, including how to craft a strong titles and abstracts, how to structure your introduction and literature review, and how to write clear methodologies, discussion and result then dive into results and suggestions. Additionally, the workshop will emphasize referencing and citation management, how to reduce plagiarism with a focus on ethical writing practices and handling AI-generated content and way to find clone journals.
By attending this workshop, participants will gain not only the technical knowledge required to write structured and impactful articles but also the confidence to navigate the complexities of academic publishing. About Resource Person:
Dr. Abilasha. N, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor with specialization in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation. With over 12 years of experience in teaching UG and PG programs, she has also delivered expert sessions for international universities including Jain University (South America batch) and Stortford Shire University, England. Dr. Abilasha has published 40+ research papers in reputed journals (Scopus, ABDC, UGC Care) and participated in 60+ workshops/seminars/FDPs. She has been a resource person in 20+ webinars and conferences on diverse topics like research writing, startups, AI in education, taxation, and CSR.
She holds 4 patents, including a design patent on “Share Market Prediction Device,” and has received 7 Best Paper Awards and 2 Best Teacher Awards. She has authored several academic books and serves as a reviewer for 12 international journals. As the SPOC for SWAYAM NPTEL at her institution.
