GRT is pleased to announce an upcoming online hands-on workshop on “Evidence-Based Analysis of Regional Disparities: Methods and Applications.” This online workshop aims to equip participants with theoretical insights and hands-on skills to analyse regional disparities and discrimination using evidence-based econometric tools and related software.

Program overview:

Regional disparities and discrimination continue to pose major challenges to balanced and inclusive development. While regional data availability has increased, there remains a gap between conceptual understanding and the practical application of econometric methods required for evidence-based analysis.

This online workshop addresses this gap by combining theoretical foundations with hands-on econometric applications. Participants will learn to measure regional disparities, analyse discrimination, and evaluate policy impacts using appropriate econometric tools and software. The program aims to strengthen research skills essential for academic and policy-oriented regional studies. It is designed for students, research scholars, early-career researchers, faculty members, academicians, and professionals interested in analysis of regional disparities.
