Introduction to STATA for Data Analysis: A Hands-on Session for Beginners.

Global Research & Training (GRT), New Delhi has consistently been at the forefront of strengthening research capacity through specialized training programs, hands-on workshops, and expert-led learning initiatives. In continuation of this mission, GRT is pleased to announce an upcoming online hands-on workshop titled “Introduction to STATA for Data Analysis: A Hands-on Session for Beginners.” This program is designed to enhance participants’ understanding of data analysis using STATA and equipping them with practical skills for data handling, management, and basic statistical analysis.

Workshop Overview

In the era of data-driven decision making, the ability to manage and analyze data has become essential across disciplines such as economics, social sciences, commerce, law, management, medical, engineering, and public policy. Statistical software plays a key role in this process, and STATA is widely used for its efficiency and user-friendly environment. However, many students and early-stage researchers often face challenges in using STATA due to limited practical exposure, even if they possess basic theoretical knowledge of statistics.

To bridge this gap, Global Research & Training (GRT), New Delhi, is organizing this online hands-on workshop titled “Introduction to STATA for Data Analysis: A Hands-on Session for Beginners.” The workshop is designed to provide a structured and practice-oriented introduction to STATA, enabling participants to move from theoretical understanding to practical application. The session will focus on essential skills such as understanding the interface, data entry, data import and management, executing basic commands, and performing basic data cleaning and visualization.

The workshop aims to equip participants with practical skills required for academic and research work, enabling them to confidently use STATA for basic data analysis and build a strong foundation for advanced learning.
